Summer With The Horses

Hey, I am spending the next 4 weeks at home with my 3 ponies, so thought it would be interesting (for me at least!) to be able to see what I actually do! And nobody really knows me very well, so hopefully after this you won't all hate me

Tomorrow I will start actually recording what I do with them, but today I thought I would give you a bit of background on me and the horses.

Ok, so I am 14 years old and going into Year 10 after the summer. I own 3 ponies (one of which is technically my mum's) and 2 dogs. My ponies are Chez, a 13.3hh chestnut with flaxen mane and tail moody mare welsh cross, Midge (my mum's) is a 13.2hh dun connemara mare, and Cassie who is a semi-retired 12hh pure grey Welsh A. I also have two dogs, a male terrier cross chihuahua called Weasel and a border terrier girl called Tizzy.

I am aiming to train both dogs to be able to run off the lead during the summer, and with Midge I am planning to find anything that might spook her, before she is sold as a child's pony! Chez just needs general training with her jumping and flatwork, as she is still quite green. Chez and Midge both need to be sold by the end of the summer as I have outgrown Chez and Midge was a project pony brought from the field for 600.

And I think that's all really, thanks , Lottii.
