Usually we head up to Julian and ride up in the mountains. Sometimes we just hit the local trails like the river bed. Theres a few trails up El Capitan Mountain (El Cajon mountain) but I havent tried that yet. I also heard that theres some trails at Mission Trails, but I doubt they'd be any good
