So the bay is Braken and the dark almost black one is Jay? and he's the Lame one?
You did a good job riding him in that dark field. Looks like it has been harrowed and was growing hay or wheat?
He is wanting to go back to the gate, rigtht? Turn away from the gate before he starts to really feel stuck to it mentally. when he is going away from the gate, pet him and give him loose rein. Stop him , away from the gate and let him stand, if he will.
You ride quite nicely.
Awww, that wasnt me saying "ya gob..*****." that was jays owner, and jay was lame on his front, and developed an abscess in his back.. hes not daft jay, he knows if he plays lame he wont get worked! I was the one panicking saying "dont jump the fence dont jump the fence", because i have seen him jump a metal fence before from stand still after hes been running around. Only thing is, he didnt jump high enough, he knocked it down and ended up on his knees! So i panic now!
I thought youd like to see bracken in movement rather than pictures.. ill upload another vid and show him on his good behaviour in our 'menage' this is also where he is turned out.. with hay.. and thats why he kicks up his heels in that field!! Maybe you will have an understanding of him more when seeing this next vid. Hes turned out with jay, and in such a small area because of jays lameness and leg problems. Hense why he also gets bullied in the field with other horses, and why hes so 'sour' xx
I love that "ya Gob****e" I know what you are saying, but some Yanks would not.
Did you say Bracken was Lame? I doubt it.
Lovely pasture they have. Get another horse. Horse's are usually LESS buddy sour in a "herd" than in a duo.
Our horses are way too lazy to run around like that.
