- Hi, I just discovered this personal part of this site. I guess I'm not really into computer-socializing (except for this FANTASTIC forum!) I'm here on the rainy side, and keep my horses at home. (I'm one of those whose economic bracket says I shouldn't have horses. Unfortunately, I'm a horse addict.) My interest isn't rodeo, but because I used to be a sports photographer for the local paper, I've gone to many, many rodeos. The Makawao rodeo has gotten pretty commercial, but it has some good performances, mostly from the Big Island cowboys. I recently rejoined the local dressage club. Very small club, but not very coherent. Anyway, if you're planning to come, email me!
- Beling,
I noticed you are from Maui. Cool! About where on the island do you keep your horse and where do you find to ride? I did some riding on Kauai, but didn't have the chance on Maui. Would be fun to see the Makawao rodeo one of these days.
