Hello! I am moving to Oregon and am looking for a barn to ride at. Where in Oregon are you?

I am thinking of going on Thornbrook Trail next week with a group. They don't seem to know much about it. Can you tell me how to get there? Also rate it's difficulty on a scale from 1-10? Steep, bridges, water to cross etc?

His lovely mane gets cut for many reasons, but most of all bc he skanks it out by rooting, biting, and whatever else he does to pull chunks out and scrounge it up! I actually haven't finished with it; I bought a pair of thinning shears and they dont work too well in my opinion. that's what everyone said to get, so I did...$20 later and you can see how its going!! lol!! (But thank you so much for the nice words!!)

Hi again! I used to ride a long time ago (ALOT) and had a hiatus of 20+years. So, I bought some horses about 5 years ago and hopefully will have some from now on! I dont get to ride as much as I would like, but will keep trying! I have not gotten to trail ride with any friends yet, but just riding ANYWHERE with a friend is fabulous!! So glad you got to go and have some fun tonight. How is your girl's nose doing? You didn't ride her, did you?

Looks like they had two runs going on simultaneously. The other horse was doing Key Hole as well on the other side of the arena. Gidget looks like she is doing great! You must be a proud mama!

Personally NOT a fan of them....the one I won threw my feet back when a horse would set up to turn. It would throw me forward and since my feet were already back I was stuck and couldn't get set back...

Very, very curious --- where were you competing in barrels where they set them up on a GRASS course? :shock::shock::shock: That's just asking for a horse to slip and fall.

Personally, I feel she has a bit to much red in her to pull off red or orange. I'd look more into turquoise, blues, greens, and purples.
