Awww I hope she feels better! Happy V-Day to you to! Guess what I got today?

Gidgit is doing okay. We were lunging her today so she could get som exercise. She slid on m pavement and got some surface wounds so we took care of that. My horse isn't use to any groundwork being done so she flips out and she got scared and went on the pavemnent and with shoes on it is not good! She will be fine though. I will be working with the lunging and ground manners tomorrow. I sure hope she gets better soon! In the mean time she needs some ground work done because she is "walking" all over me. She won't listen yet she listens to my friend. I think she knows I think twice about using the whip at times and I am not stern enough. So guess I should kick it up a notch.

I have a quarter horse black and white paint mare. My fiance has a quarter/arab cross who is almost 2 years old.
I had a breeding stock paint before which she was quarter horse(she was huge compared to mine right now...15.3 hands while Gidgit stands 14.2 hands). I also had an arab at one point but I kinda don't care for them that much. They are head flingers and hot blooded. I like the calmer horses and my horse still has her moments.
I suppose it depends on the horse.
We have Gidgit and Sonic :) They are awesome!
