Haha ive ridden and taken care of them many times my barn has 2 also the stud and his daughter who i used to lease for gymkhana and western pleasure. Either way i'm seeing a care change haha outlaw is insanely low maintenance farrier loves his feet, gets fat off 3-3 1/2 flakes of alfalfa takes wormer like a champ and im extremely luck for the lack of vet visits hes needed haha.

No never owned one but know many and their owners :]. My trainer has 4, 3 barrel ponies and a show/reining pony who sadly has bad lamness issues do to being rushed early on.

Aww, well that's good, he had a full life. I always hated finding a horse I liked that was out of budget. Don't worry, you'll find one you like soon :) Have you ever owned a QH before?

Yeah its ok he lived a long 19yrs and was spoiled rotten the last 5 that I worked with him so it was definitely hard but came out alright. I found a quarter horse that looked exactly like him except he had a from white also but unfortunately he was a bit out of budget :/.

Yes, I do LOVE TB's. They can really make great Barrel horses :) And I'm sorry about your horse that passed in '10 :( That's always so hard.

Ya I mean if I found a thick thoroughbred I'd totally be open to that. My boy soldier who passed away in 2010 I believe was a full TB and he kicked butt loved that horse to death, but no I couldn't go under 14.2 which is what outlaw is.

Haha, yes. When we were looking for a horse, I kinda had a very QH mind set. It isn't really like I'm close-minded to other breeds, but I've always liked them best for speed events. And I totally get where you're coming from. I couldn't have ever had a pony because of how small they are, and how little they're legs are! I'm always afraid they might break. . :/
