Draftrider, I asked to be your friend because I think you have a great way of putting things and you give great advice, and I like your sense of humor ("ride a draft; it makes your butt look small") :)

I asked to be your friend mainly because I feel we share a similar philosophy about horses, and a similar deep fondness for them. I enjoy your writing style.

You asked to be my friend - and at first I hesitated largely because I am not quite sure what to be a 'friend' means. I cannot introduce you to my horse, neither can we go for a ride to a pub and have a glass of wine. And I suspect we are of different generations. I seem to be the oldest one about.
With Tealamutt I have occasional pm correspondence and you'll notice I have fairly regular exchanges on the threads themselves with the likes of Kevin, SMR, Kiwi & even Rio (when he was contributing}.
So now we have shaken hands and said hello - what happens how?

I do subscribe to three Forums two related to horses and one to writing but it is not my style to post to Twitter or Facebook.

Please tell me why you wanted to be my friend? You are very welcome but what's the attraction of a bald grey haired bandy very old man who had a mare who is too young for him?
