Or.... some horses simply cannot go barefoot and must wear shoes. I'm all for barefoot, if it works for the horse. Not just the owner.

It doesn't have to be the end. When I was young one of my ponies went blind. I remember what we did. We would take some gravel and spread it a couple feet around the fence, then lead her up to it...

Go shoe shopping! Really, that's what I did. After going through 6 farriers who professed to know everything and then screwed up my horse's feet, I started going to other barns and looking at horse...

I've never provided farrier service to a "sort", but have worked on a few horses. :wink: In my opinion, it is nearly impossible for the average horse owner to successfully "research" their own...
