    Ha ha, nice exercise. :) And sorry about your back. Hope it feels better soon!

    I had to get up and work early today, so no breakfast. I snagged a half a peice of pizza and some grapes for lunch. I have no idea what's for dinner since it's only 2:00.

    As for exercise, I'm exhausted. I worked a pony party today. Saddled and groomed horses, trotted them around with little kids on their backs, moved hay bales... I also got in a little riding. It was only a 20 minute trail ride at a running walk though.

    I made my own. Chicken and rice, yum! It's super easy to make; only took me 45 minutes. And your salad sounds good. Mine are pitiful; just lettuce and tomatoes.

    And today I started out with a breakfast bar. For lunch I ate a peanut butter sammich and some fruit, and for dinner I had a burrito with chicken and on a whole grain tortilla.

    And my exercise today was pretty mild. I went out after school to work with my BO's daughter's three-year-old spotted saddle horse. We did some area work --or pasture work, rather; the arena was in use. He worked on good turns, walking straight... Mostly just walking and gaiting straight. He's got horsie ADHD. We did this for about half an hour, then went on an hour trail ride.

    Volleyball game tomarrow, more riding Saturday, and a five day break from school. :) My week is turning out well.

    For exercise, we had a really hard volleyball practice today. I came home exhausted... Spiking drills, serving, and scrimmages, oh my! I was going for a run, but I had a heck of a lot of homework to do. We have four tests tomorrow --health, math, science, and computer-- as well as a project on the four states of matter due.

    Good thing is I'm going riding tomorrow. I've been trying out a new mare for the past few days and I'm thinking about making an offer on her. Right now she's $2,000, which is overpriced, IMHO. She's a 17-year-old TWH. Kid safe and with a great endurance factor, but still...

    I like 2% milk. I'm trying to switch to skim, but it's sooo tough! I love my regular milk.

    Sounds like you're going well. It don't think you maxed out as long as the portions were normal sized. You've also gotten all the food groups accounted for; that's something I NEVER keep up with. :)

    Today I didn't do as well as usual. For breakfast I had a chicken biscuit from Chick-fil-la, which was probably full of empty calories. At lunch I had a salad and half a peanut butter sandwich (peanut butter is one of my favorite foods; I'm trying to quit). For dinner, it's fend for yourself night, so I'm going to go and hunt for something to cook right after I finish typing this. I'm feeling soup...

    And as far as exercise, I hardly did a thing except play volleyball. I usually go walking with my dog every afternoon, but I got home from my game so late I didn't have time. I guess taking care of my turkeys counts for a little exercise... I had to clean out their coup, and moving all the soiled straw is hard work. I need to get together a daily workout

    We won our game! I'm thrilled. I even got the final spike.

    Ned Kelly pie? That sounds tasty. Sounds like your healthy eating is going pretty well. :) And yes! Two point cantering is wonderful for muscle and balance. At my barn, we have a QH with a terrible rough canter, so we go for trot/canter trail rides, two point all the way, to build muscle. It takes days to be able to walk normally again!

    So, my day...

    Today I ate some yogurt for breakfast, which I'm pretty proud of. I never eat breakfast, and for lunch I had a turkey sammich and some orange sherbet. I love sherbet. <3 For dinner I had a quarter of a steak, some black eyed peas, and some cabbage. Also, I drank excessive amounts of milk; it's one of my favorite things.

    Three cakes? Dang. And you didn't save me any? :P

    And I did okay today. I ate FRUIT! Grapes, to be exact. Then I came home from a trail ride and ate two slices of pizza... :/ I don't have too much of a problem with that, but it doesn't seem very healthy to eat only grapes and pizza. Under eating?

    As for salads, same with me! I eat salad and turkey sammichs during the school week and munch on all kinds of junk during the weekend. :) Also, I have a volleyball game tomarrow. Yay for exercise!
