WE sure miss you on the forum! Are you busy w/Blossom? How's it going?

When I got my Paso Fino mare she was ridden in a side pull & I was told she didn't like a bit. I did try her w/a couple of different ones-she responded, but was uncomfortable. I had a bitless set-up-rode her in that sometimes, used a jumping hackamore a few times & did trail ride w/just a halter & looped leadrope. After a couple of years she started taking advantage when other horses moved away faster than she liked or on going downhills. So I went to a snaffle, then found a French link in a parelli headstall. That turned out to be perfect. The picture of that is in my profile, I believe. After 2 years of no bits, & really getting to know me & our trails, it was no longer an issue.
