I love your ponies! When I saw a post of yours and read your signature, I was excited because Shetlands are one of my favorite breeds :)

she was only bagged up completely for about a week I think she wouldn't let use check her teats but she started bagging up quite a while bofore she foal

wow he's learning early! she is out in the field at the moment we have had her in the stable for a while expecting her to foal but we decided with the weather being so nice she can go out and stay out overnight. Every morning i expect to arrive and a cute little foal will be there but every morning i am dissappointed. she isn't producing milk yet so maybe a little while longer. How long did your mare bag up for before she had the handsome boy?

wow can't wait to see pics. Bess looked abit more fuller today and her back end is a little softer so hopefully not long for me to wait either. Have you named filly?

Pretty much the same really do wish they had kept and eye on her and the stallion to get a good due date hopefully she will wait until the weather improves.

She doing good thanks. Not long now, she has been bagged up for two weeks so just waiting for the foal to make an appearance. She hasn't waxed up or dripping milk so not quite there yet i don't think. Wish I knew when her due date was. How about news your end?

she is huge mum has finally ordered in mare and uoung stock mix as she isn't producing milk. How ever has changed shape and the muscles around the tail are like jelly. An I feal sorry for her that foal has been very acctive and she is fed up poor girl. Haven't got the stable ready yet so don't think I will stable her as she hates it any way. Sorry for all the babbling. How is your mare doing?

My mare is fine thank you. She is a though little cookie lives out all the time for now we got he from pickering but never expected her to be this tough as shetland is terrible so she is fine. Sorry of the ramble. The weather is arwful always windy and rainy (tipical shetland) she isn't getting fed anything sepecial just cool mix and mollichaf. There isn't anything else really up here for sale and my mum won;t order anything else from the feed merchent as she would have to pay more as no one else up here orders any but she is coping fine on cool mix.

I rug my stallion because he has arthritis and it helps before that he was rugged because he has been really ill. I also rug Molly because she looses weight in winter as the bigger the pony up here...

I have 4 entire males and a gelding living happily together most of the year, this time of year they play fight the worse they come away with is the off minor cut but these boys have lived with over...
