Fence friend said its 6x's stronger than 12.5 LOL He does fencing for a living so hes talking all technically and Im lost but he said as long as you stretch it properly (and dont have foals) you are good to go! I am at work today-and bored LOL I have been hovering around the forums reading stuff.. I think I am going to start hanging around here when I can to learn more stuff. Ive found all kinds of good stuff (unfortunately including that there are actually people out there that would BEAT A HORSE TO DEATH! *sniffle* I really had no idea someone would/could do that! I cant see a horse and not kiss it in the soft spot between those cute nostrils so how could someone do something so horrid as beat a horse to death?? Sorry, Im still reeling from reading that post..) I probably wont be until next summer that we get our horses so that will give me time to learn stuff I THOUGHT I knew but really didnt LOL Thanks for the input SR!!!!!! I appreciate it!

You're very welcome. 14.5 is too thin for horses, so make sure it's 12.5 and you're good to go. :)

Wow, that's a bargain! You need to snap that up if it's the right tensile strength. I paid $150 a roll for mine.

It has to be 12.5 tensile strength, or it won't hold horses. Anything with a higher number than that is too thin, and the horses can go through it or bend it completely out of shape.

I like it quite a bit. I have 3 geldings, two of which who are pretty rowdy when they get to playing, and it's working very well.

It should work well enough for your two, especially since you're planning to put hotwire around the top to keep them off the fencing.
