Hi! Thanks for asking about my Mick! We are continuing to work on his nervousness, and have made huge strides. I changed his feed to a low starch, and a barn move has also seemed to have calmed him down. He's turning into a super cute guy and we are starting (again) on introducing him to jumping. The original plan of hauling him to shows this summer was put off by the EHV scare, but it was probably for the best anyway. The plan is to do it this winter as show season really kicks in now. I'm excited to see how he handles everything. We won't be showing, just hanging out and maybe some riding in the warmup arena :) I've also learned a lot about not giving in to his foolishness. He's not a complete spaz, he just wants me to think he is ;) Thanks again for asking!

how amazing!!!! Have you seen Linus go around recently???
He's one of our best jumper lesson horses! One of our younger riders is smitten with him. She took him to the Oaks a couple weeks ago and totally kicked butt!
I started riding with Lauren when she was at Whittier... i miss it out there!

That sounds amazing. we realy dont have a place to just let them run. Our hay field has been converted into a corn field the past few years so the only place to ride is our small outdoor. when we go to speed shows we find big fields and jsut go for a run. My show horse is her son and he is the complete opposite of her. Lazy as a log. But if you put him head to head with some one he will take off and make sure hes in front lol. But his idea of running is bucking with a headset lol.

Yea shes definetly a special mare. We tryed to retire her 3 years ago but whenever any one would get on her you could just feel her wanting to go Soo bad. She has such manners tho and wont take off unless you tel lher too lol. But once she gets going good luck stopping her. I took her in a plug race last summer and we ended up doing 3 laps instead of one because she didnt want to leave the ring lol.

Your horses markings are just amazing. I Love him! <3 One of my horses is a half paint but hes solid. He was suppose to be a black and white pinto GIRL (what we were hoping for) and we got a Solid Bay BOY! lol but thats life. Hes the most amazing horse i could ever ask for. You seem like you have quite a handfull with your boy. He looks like a joy.
