thats soo great! Im glad shes doing better on her grains!! she looks AWESOME for turning 29! it just comes to show you that just because a horse is old..doesnt mean that they cant be ridden like a normal horse you know :) i think that older horses are often underestimated! Im glad you get to ride another horse too!!OMG IK (its hard keeping weight on them during winter) lol!!! GO OLDIES!! ;) hehe
Thanks, I'm very glad she's better (obviously :p ), it scared me to death considering that she's turning 29 this year and it was snowing and she wouldn't go in the barn like normal. Yeah it's tough keeping weight on the oldies huh? We're starting to give Chey grain now which is giving her a bit of a perk but we haven't really had to worry about that much yet. Yeah I was kind of unhappy at first but I realized that I still get to ride her and go to shows and gymkhanas so I shouldn't really get too disappointed. Her owner and everyone at the barn calls her 'my horse' anyway haha I'm riding another horse now too, six year old Arab named Maverick :)
OMG!!! IM SO GLAD CHEYENNES OKAY!!! that sounds definately stressful!! i was so stressed about Angel...but finally shes finished being sick! just have a few pounds to put on her...i really want her looking great for 4-H!!! omg id be so sad about not getting cheyenne for free! but im glad you found a positive thing to look forward to!
oh no that's not good!! Glad she's okay now!! Cheyenne's doing great, hot and healthy as ever! I was racing her on Sunday and she did totally amazing like usual! She got pneumonia a month or two ago which was horrible! That was her first time actually costing us money but she's totally good now :) She had choked on hay and couldn't get it out of her system for about 3 weeks, it was horrible, but she's good now so I'm very happy :) I was offered to get her for free last week, but my parents turned it down AGAIN. grr. oh well, I'm still riding her and so that's all that matters :)
good for right now lol...she recently was diagnosed with a respiratory infection! poor girl! jus trying to keep her happy and healthy right now...shes doing very well right now! hows Cheyenne?
