Well when Cheyenne was bought she was skin and bones. You could easily count her ribs which isn't uncommon for an old horse. Since then she hasn't had ANY grain. It's been about 3 or 4 years and all she's eaten is hay and grass. You can't see her ribs at all anymore. I ride her about twice a week, but when I do ride her, I ride for about 2 hours and I make sure that I have something to work on (jumping, stopping, listening, collection, speed, etc.) not just going out there to do nothing. If I don't feel like riding her I will lunge her and just work on her trust. I do that for about half an hour or an hour or so. And then I do some stretches with her every once in a while just to make sure that she's not getting stiff or anything. So yeah that's pretty much all I do to get her fit. I don't even really know about anything like this, but it seems to be working!
    What do you do?

sweetness!! Does she act like she's five like mine does? lol (litterally, for one: her ground mannors are TERRIBLE!! and for two: she's a gymkhana pony and someone's won High Point on her lol!) No, she's a sweetie, I love her. Thank you!

nope, eventing is when you're asked to perform three phases; cross country, dressage, and stadium jumping. hunter classes are judged on how the horse moves english

I do a lot of gaited classes with him, and last year at fair we brought home two Reserve Grand Champion ribbons. He's also quite fast; we got a Top 5 Gymkhana at fair last year also. He does great in jumping, trail class, and all the fun classes.

He's a great horse, and there's nothing wrong with his health, so we ride quite a bit. I've shown him quite a bit lately, and he's always done great for me.

Really? Since you're the one who said YOU bought a $50.00 saddle, and showed a picture of it. It's junk, plain and simple. If you don't like that, then that's your problem. You said YOUR horse was bucking, not someone else's. Either get your stories straight, or keep your mouth shut, little girl.
