I did see it, I also saw her other post and I'm glad that she is attempting to get help for her horse. I believe in that case it was an issue of inexperience and unintentional harm. If you wanted to, I just posted a thread about health issues before training issues, it would be awesome if you check it out and leave your thoughts. :)

Not at all. If you hadn't said it, someone else would have. I think a lot of times people think what they say comes off as sounding harsh, when really we're just concerned about their horse's welfare. I feel that way with Cowgirl07 (not sure if you've seen how skinny her horse is, but it's kind of scary, TBH).

Oh thankyou :) I've been doing it for just under two years, it just comes with experience. We competed two weekends ago and had a couple of 1st - so I was on cloud 9 from that! Do you think my post about checking for tack issues came off harsh? :S

WOW! Way to go! I can't wait until we can compete. Probably won't do as well as you two, but we'll try.

Excellent! His being such a joy to compete and came home with a 7th, 11th (overall 14th) in a jumping class that had over 40 riders! So I war rather impressed with the results we received.

My boy is doing good. We're still working on stopping, but at least our fear of walking to the round pen has been worked out (turns out the poop dumpster and wash rack were what was freaking him out...ah, the joys of having a two-year-old). How is/are yours?
