Hello! I love to help you! For my horse he took the transition from racehorse to "regular horse" great mentally but not so well physically. My Ottb is calm and easy going but still has his hyper times. So right away he just went along with the ridng and seemed to be happy to be done with racing. Now he has such a hard time with weight thou! His metabolism seems to never of slowed down so therefore he gets three time as much as the other horses and other supplements. Also when I pulled Hero's shoes off he went sore for 6 months! Almost not being able to walk! NOw his hooves are fine and he has a decent weight on him. I still want to get more on him thou. But this is my experience with my horse.
