No vet check yet. Haven't even gotten my first paycheck yet! But I found a non caustic or surgical means of getting rid of the proud flesh. I got to ride him a couple weeks ago, and he did really good. That hitch in his shoulder was barely noticable.

i just stopped by to wish you happy holidays. hope its going good with your horse. hows the leg? did youget a vet to look at it? anyways. enjoy your holiday season and ride safe.
-
No, luckily. Its right at the joint in his front leg. When I get to do the consultation, I will see what can be done.
-
oh im sure its sore.does it touch the ground when walking? or close to it? that much scar tissue will bother him.for sure. lets hope the vet thinks he can clean it out.do it once and for all.then with you i bet with care you can heal it up maybe get a non hurting horse out of it...
-
Its a big bulge, that's for sure. I do wonder if its still
tender, or if he just has poor balance. Whenever we
clean his front hoof that isn't bad, we can only hold it
for a little bit before he takes it away
-
that would be good..cuts an scars on the lower leg.and pasturn are tough. then with scar build up it gets so thick it gets in the way.sometimes it can be cleaned out.all the scar tissue and then heal up correctly.. so a chance of getter him back to good...
-
At his ankle. There's lots of scar tissue build up. No
pictures yet, but will see if I can get a picture and
video of his scar and movement.
-
where is the scar at? lower leg? shoulder? just curious. vets can get expensive and often you can take care of it yourself alot cheaper. a picture of it would be good too..
-
Him. He has an old scar from before we got him, and
has caused some favoriting it seems, which may
have turned into arthritis. The scar opened up in
november, after having him for a year with no
problems.

very good. ill cross my fingers for you and hope its pretty darn soon. so what is hurt on her? or him? cant remember...
