Hey I'm on a cell phone right now, but as soon add I get home and on a real computer I will explain how I taught him to lye down. But, its not the easiest thing, and I don't know if this technique will work for your horse, I dunno, you will just have to see

    Hi go go girl,
I always let my gelding smell the saddle, he has to do that everytime, also the the saddle blacket and pad. The pad has his mother's scent on it so he is
ok with it. Also the blanket and saddle. So you might try that. I tie Waja up and he moves some but I tell him to stop. I've had him since he was a baby.

yea just desensitize him to it. if you saddle is too heavy for you to hold him and it have some one hold him and just put the saddle next to his shoulder if he jumps away from it have the person just go with him and you to then when he stops take it away =) hell learn that as long as his feet are still eventually it will go away. you can use this technique with everything

really good actually!! it is helping to back him upp whenever he prances or trots when he isnt supposed to.... and i was out there the other day and he is finally not afraid of the big parelli ball, i took pics and they are on his profile.... he is now kicking it and pushing it around, he used to rear and pivot to get away. now i have to teach him to not be afraid of the saddle, hes fine with it once its on him, but when im putting it on him he tries to run and tries to pull the hitching post out of the ground.... :( any ideas???
