    Hi,
    Where are you riding your standardbred? At lot of how you get your horse to canter depends on where you are riding and how long they were at the track. The longer they were at the track the more confused they are going to be by being asked to canter. For some, the best way is to take them out on a trail-ride with another horse and ask for the canter than. They might run into it the first few times but they should eventually get the idea.

    Hi Rookie. I also own a Standardbred from off the track. I was wondering if you can gice me some advice, tips and tricks to get her Cantering. We have tried everything. She has a nice fluent trot. She is learning to relax her neck and is beggining to frame up and relax under saddle. We do some jumping and we jump up to four feet so far. :) So please help us with the cantering, she is a pacer.

    Is he having any trouble eating? or having muscle tremors because those can be signs of botulism.
