Tealamutt,
Something was definitely going on but he was ok in about an hour. I bet it was a reaction to the increase in Tri-Hist that did it. I just retrieved this message this AM. Can't get a knowledgeable vet here until next week. I will soak his feet in cold water and apply the foam to feet until then. I am taking him off the Tri-Hist. Yesterday something was definitely going on. He was up and down most the day. Today he is up. I am sticking with bute and when the supplement comes I will start him on that.
Also the vet I talked with this morning said no grass, what I figured. He hasn't been out of the barn since last week. I questioned the second vet on that and he said it was ok. My gut and from what I have read said NO! The pasture has been cut way down,(small area) and we are in drought right now.
On the blue board foam do I completely cover the whole bottom or avoid some of the toe? Also do I need to vet wrap or just duct tape?
Thanks again for your support and Cowboy says :)

Please call the vet. He sounds like he could be colicking and the temp and heart rate are elevated. Let the vet know what has been going on, what the heart rate and temp are. I don't want to panic you but it is time to be somewhat concerned.
