    Update on Sunny: She is healing well, quickly going back to her normal self. She's on lots of meds and stuff to help her heal, should be able to start back into riding work in a week or so! Thankful...

    I also have never understood the hurry to wean at an early age. I refuse to do so until after 6 months and mostly at 8-12. I think it is very unnatural to wean at 3-4 months of age and see no point...

    I know this is a contentious issue but I base this on my observations of both the physical and mental health of foals (and mares). I also fail to see why we would wean so much earlier than a horse...
