Just read your story on the forum. I don't know what your day job is but keep writing. I don't know much about the publishing world but I remember reading there are sites for self publishing ebooks and some how you can set up your book or books and charge a fee for downloading it to read, small like 25,50 cents to begin with but once you have a following you can show that to actual publishers. Anyway, research the self publishing and don't give up, you've got talent.
