Hi there! Wow what great country!
I adore Montana, lived up there for awhile.
Glad you are on here! Love trail riders, always enjoy reading about everyones adventures. I trail ride too, here in these little AR hills, not quite the same as up there but it's pretty rough country...
My horse is fine, the one that gets the eye infections is Cowboy the grey, he ain't as tough as he looks. It's Horsecrazygirl's gelding. I agree with you, didn't look so bad. It'll be fine, my daughters pony went blind so I'm super careful when I see a problem that a little tlc and time won't fix.

Hope to see more about your trips! Happy safe trails!

I just told my sister that someone one Horse Forum complimented her picture taking and she was thrilled. I love taking pictures, but they usually don't end up that good. She just has the gift I guess!

I hardly ever ride with other people, though I would love to. I just ride alone. When I do ride with other people it is with slooow horses like Quarter Horses or ponies... I'm always having to circle around. I have never ridden on a trail either, it's always in the pastures. There are no trails at my barns property and we don't have a horse trailer, unfortunately.

I actually looked at all of your albums already! The views you have are just AMAZING. And those hunting trips look like some major fun; I want to go on one someday. I like your little trail buddy, too. ;)

Just wondered something. I know that TWH's are meant for the big, flat plantations, and that that is what they're best at. How do the Tennessee Walkers do in the mountains? I've always wanted to know.

Thank you so much for the compliments on my horse! Her headset wasn't at all like that when I got her, but I have a great riding instructor who knows her stuff. She taught me how to get that from her.

My little sister actually was the one who took a lot of the later pictures. She was twelve at the time of photo taking. I think she did a nice job, too. I will let you know when I take more of her. And that will probably be tomorrow, but it will take me a few days to upload them on here.

    Thanks again!

I live in what they call the Gatineau Hills. It's a nice place quite close to the city of Gatineau which borders the Nation's capital called Ottawa. There are about 4 different ski hills in my area so if you like downhill skiing it's pretty good. I love my APHA gelding named Hawk. He has been a work in progress over the past 4-5 years. I am primarily an English rider but have Western saddles for all my horses. I have learned to team pen this past summer with my Half Arab named Joey. It's a lot of fun and have met more horse people in the process. What's it like for you in Montana?

Hey, cowboy! The papillion sounds like a great pal. My two dogs aren't allowed out where I board my horse. The ranch has 2 dogs. Clare the golden would love him, but King the German Shepherd wouldn't. He's kind of territorial. My pups have a 1/2 acre fenced backyard. They're pretty content with that probably because they don't know that they're missing the freedom of farm life. :) You ride safe, too, and great to have you on the forum! I'm a teacher, so don't get to post as much as I'd like, but love connecting with other horse folks in the "Over 40 Lounge", as we've nicknamed it. LOL! You ride safe, too. Sounds like you have a great life out there.

Thanks for the friend request. If I lived in the USA Montana would be the place i'd love to live.

Hay to you, too. Thanks for the "howdy" I hope to be a Carrot Queen, but doubt that will happen. The winters seem to be getting longer in PA and it will give me something to do. Happy and Safe trails to you.
