So he went to jail not for poisoning horses but for stealing? Well, at least he is in jail.

Wow--that is just terrible. Is he in jail?

Ouch! That beats my fall bigtime. I've only fallen off once; it was when I was gaiting along on Brandy and she got her toe caught in a crack in the ground. It hadn't rained in forever so that was why. She tripped and fell to her knees and I went flying over her head and landed really hard on my hip. It was a good thing I rolled to the side too, because she could have easily landed on me... It's kinda silly that that's the way I fell off, you'd think it would have been from one of her little mini-tantrums haha.

I guess that is more embarrassing. But you should see my big dad in his tiny, old Datson truck--he's almost 6 feet tall and he just barely fits in there. His head just almost hits the ceiling.

Someone poisoned all five of your horses??? OMG that's terrible! Did you find out who did it? That is just awful... I would be devastated.

Wow, 4 hours is a long time to sit on a bony back! For a long time my horse was super comfy to ride because she was fat, but then we had her lose a couple hundred pounds and it wasn't near so pleasant.

Oh, gosh! What happened to you sounds pretty embarrassing... and funny. LOL Especially in front of a bunch of girls, and ESPECIALLY in front of someone you liked...

A family friend and I once tried riding double bareback and, um, it didn't work. She was very new to horses, and was grabbing onto me and swaying. She started leaning so far to one side she took me partly with her so we were barely hangin' on with one leg over Brandy's back. She was panicking and everything. It was pretty funny!

So you have just gotten her! How cool. And hey, I was partly right about the breed.

Another reason I prefer bareback more is because when I'm tired of riding I do weird stuff on her back. Like lying on her back backwards or attempting to stand up-- still haven't got to that point yet.

It IS hard to find other people who ride bareback all the time. I think you are the first person!

The longest bareback ride was I think a little over two hours. We just went into all of the pastures and messed around. What about you? How long have you been on bareback?

As a funny, my mom once picked me up from the stable and took me to Walmart. Only LATER she told me about all the dirt on my rear end... embarrassing!

Thank you very, very much! And you are totally right about the time thing; I can only go to the barn about twice a week so I try to make every minute count. Plus, I just enjoy it more bareback sometimes. I feel like we are more connected.

How long have you had your horse? She is a paint, right?
