Well I know the DVDs I have would definetly help you with alot of the problems you are having with Breezy.....if you were closer I would lend them to you.
I think if you could get her to respect you better then the biting usually goes away on it's own. I don't have that problem with Street, he stands nicely while I get a stool to climb up on top of him and doesn't move till I tell him to.......wish I could help you more, it can be frustrating but having others be negative sure doesn't help! I have helped a few young girls around here with their horses they were having problems with.
Can you watch vids online, here is a free site for Clinton's tv shows, they put up on Wed. new shows....that might help some. Downunder Horsemanship TV

I also have another horse who is a retired barrel horse, she is 18yr. QH and was left to me from my best friend who passed away this May. I also have a horse boarded here who has been here since he was 6 months old, had never been handled and I did all the ground work with him, he's a dream of a horse!
We also did training here in 2010, a good friend of mine did the riding and I did the ground work.....we had 40 horses go through here from spring to fall. We used Clinton Anderson's methods on all the horses and not one of them bucked or reared. We had a few pushy disrespectful horses (young and not so young) that came to be taught ground manners.I live in southern Manitoba, do a search on Clinton Anderson on Youtube, there are some good videos up there on how to work with horses. I have all of his training DVDs, riding DVDs and I was a member of his club for 5yrs. His methods work and you will see a big change in your filly.

I have been reading your posts and some of the people have been too hard on you. Yes I don't think the filly totally respects you yet but with work that will come.
Have you ever heard of Clinton Anderson? I started following his methods about 7yrs. ago with my horses and man did it make a difference in one of my horses. I have a 10 yr. red roan mare Spice, a 9yr. appy gelding Chips and a 3 1/2yr. old gelding Street (he's Spice's offspring). When I got Chips he was only 6 weeks old and I had no idea on how to handle a youngster, I didn't want to hit him or be mean and he took full advantage of that! Now he is a 9yr. respectful horse with excellent ground manners. Street was born here, he has been handled since the day he was born by me, we have started him under saddle this fall and he has really good ground manners.
