Mine doesn't have a horn. I purposely chose it that way - to me, the horns seem out of place and there's enough spots to tie things to the saddle without it. I have both western and english saddles...

I have a Kimberley synthetic endurance saddle purchased with trail riding in mind. It's made by the Downunder saddle company. It's comfortable for the horse and me - light weight and easy to lift...

I use English stirrup leathers, 1", so those bend easier than western fenders. I don't think my saddle has the stirrups set any further forward than our Circle Y Mojave, though. I normally use one...

Maybe you should look at these pics, there is a reason why they can sell them so cheaply, and this relates to both Western and English, you save money on the bits that the customer doesn't usually...
