Hi, I am 74, married to the best guy in the world. He has helped to give me 3 mini's and a team of Haflingers, or soon to be team. My father farmed with horses and with 13 kids, we all worked our small farm in IL I was third from the youngest of 7 girls and 6 boys. I was the only one that got horse "disease" from my DAD.
I have had QH, walkers, fox trotters, Paso Fino and Peruvian Paso. Trail rode every weekend that I didn't work. Adopted 2 daughters and they have the "disease" also. My favorite was My Paso , Shawnee. When My former husband died, I had to sell him and I am still looking for him. Can't ride anymore because of injuries, but drive in our local saddle club shows and just for fun. So don't anyone give up your love of horses, there is life after 40, 50, 60, 70+++++++++++
