i don't know much about them myself but i am learning quickly, i Love your horse names, they are so cool, a simple word for stop in Gaelic is STAD, try that and see does it work with him, you will have a multi lingual Cappell Ban, fair play to you, as you probably know very few Irish people know any Gaelic at all, which is a shame really, difficult language to learn, especially the prenunciation and spelling. best of luck, let me know how you get on
So glad to have you on the site! LUV your horse, don't know much about Knappstruppers, but I think they are gorgeous!
My hubby's horse is AnamChara, we call her Chara, and my secret name for my white stud colt is Cappell Ban, tho his 'real' name is Boo! and I am tryin to learn enuff Gaelic to train him in it. I want to us 'Teigh' for go, or speed up, and I haven't decided what to use for 'whoa' yet. I need something with one syllable that means 'stop' or 'hold' or something.
