I'll be pretty sad selling Willie, but it's the best for both of us. He can't really teach me anything anymore, and with his previous injury can't compete at the level I want to, so I'd rather sell him to someone who will benefit from him and who will love him as much as I did when I got him.
ah thats good that you will have horses to ride so you can keep doing it! i would be heart broken if i sold my horse, Mouse...ive worked so hard training him and i love him. hopefully when i have to take over paying for him when my dad retires ill be able to afford him!
Depends on my financial situation and whether or not I get a second job successfully. Likely I won't get another horse, at least not for a while. I'll have plenty to ride at my trainer's place, so it's not like I'll have to stop riding.
haha good plann. you planning on buying a new horse after he sells?
And i was kinda the same way two years ago...i had just moved up to novice with my horse jet and we were doing good for the most part but then he died from him having a meltdown in the trailer and ended up breaking his coffin bone in two places. it was so sadd
I was moving up to training when Willie was injured a few years ago. Haven't competed in about 2 years now, but we'll probably just be doing BN or N since they'll be his first events in so long. I just need him to look good so I can sell him lol.
I'll be down there from January 1st through the end of March. :) I'm not sure if/how much I'll be competing, depends on how much money I have, lol. But I'll definitely be around if I'm not actually showing! If the money comes through I'll probably be doing Full Gallop at the very least, then doing some schooling shows and such. Possibly Sporting Days, it all kind of depends lol.
