- Hi friend!
Yay, I'm so excited to hear that!
I'm in the Westminster/Broomfield area, so maybe we can get together for lunch or a ride sometime once you're settled :>
I can say that Silver Quarter Acres is nice because MVS has an office on the property, which is a great touch. I have worked with these vets before and they are great--I have visited the facilities, too, to pick up medicine and it appeared tidy and well kept. That said, I'm pretty certain that they're more western-centric.
I have never heard of/visited Legacy, but the website certainly looks nice!
The Arvada area has many options--I'd like to suggest, too, A Rising Star Equestrian Center. I have heard that they have a solid Dressage program, and are still in the same area. Caduceus is really quite lovely, but it's a bit more out of the way and I'm not totally sure what area you're looking in.
Good luck with the move!
- Thanks for your note- I have been following along with Ana since you first posted about her, because I'm a sucker for Morgans! I like how she has some white on her though, Isabel is plain bay. Do you know anything about Ana's breeding? I'm just starting to learn more about Morgan lines, as I live in a part of the country where they are very popular. Ironically, even though Vermont is such a center of Morgan breeding, Isabel comes from a farm in North Carolina, very close to where I used to live when I was in graduate school.

Posted On: 11-24-2015, 03:48 PMNot that way! My small home boarding situation gives me a little tackroom I share with one other person. Each half has two saddle racks, a blanket bar, a row of hooks, and three bridle holders. I...Liked On: 11-24-2015, 01:50 PM
Posted On: 11-24-2015, 01:31 PMVery cool! For a neck strap, just use an old stirrup leather. No need to buy a special piece of tack. I use the stirrup leather trick all the time when teaching kids 2-point so they have something...Liked On: 11-24-2015, 10:48 AM

Posted On: 11-23-2015, 03:26 PMYep, yawning occasionally is perfectly normal. But back in the summer, Isabel was doing it excessively. After every ride, as soon as I took the bridle off, she'd yawn and yawn, over and over again,...Liked On: 11-23-2015, 03:01 PM
