Go to the ACD website ACDHA - American Cream Draft Horse Assoc. and download any paper you would need. It would have the fees on it too. I haven't registered any for a few years, need to catch up with that myself but all the info. you need should be there.

Off color stallions are gelded to be registerable. Off color mares can be registered as tracking. Cream mares with dark skin can be registered. Dark skin in stallions is prohibited. OK in geldings. The creams have had to outcross to Belgians etc. to keep the lines from becoming too inbred as there are too few of these to close the registry. Is is recommended to have at least 500 living animals before considering closing the registery and right now we aren't there. Then add the threat of JEB and that really messed things up.

Sorry for the umpteen month delay. My computer died and I finally replaced it. Hopefully you are still coming here. I know Norman's breeder, Janet! Toots was an off color mare to start with. Swede was champagne and was originally sold w/o papers but I persuaded Janet to go back to his breeder and get them. Swede is now gelded. I have three foals by Swede, my now gelding who I used as a stallion until this past spring and two mares. You can register Norman as off colored/tracking by getting Janet to send you a breeder's cert.
