- Hi! I very rarely see if I have a PM, nice to meet you!
No problem getting feed here. The problem is affording it! Hay is about $40/bale. I give alfalfa cubes, less waste, and my area is low-calcium grass. Other areas have worse grass--kikuya, which leaches the calcium from bones. Some suspect it causes tumors, too. Yikes!
Rainy season is coming, an I'm guessing you're reading about thrush remedies, and rain-scald remedies, as I am.
Your horse has a lovely face!

Posted On: 01-09-2015, 02:13 PMWhen a horse gets 3 legged lame I ALWAYS suspect an abscess. It is just that over 90% of the time. That means that 10% of the time it is not. Those big ugly wind-puffs hardly ever cause...Liked On: 02-17-2015, 10:33 PM
Posted On: 02-17-2015, 09:57 PMYou can't tell a warm foot except very early in the morning. Very early, a horse that has just been standing around will have ice cold legs and feet, even in the summer time. So, you go out very...Liked On: 02-17-2015, 10:32 PM
