- 01-28-2013 02:05 PM - permalinkPiggyPabloHey...I know u haven't been on here for awhile...just dropping by to say hi
- Got some new pics of Spirit today: Pics of Spirit « Tango Niner Two
- Three weeks later, I finally get around to taking more pics of Spirit! =P Just posted them on flickr. =)
I took a few on film, too – Hopefully I'll get them up on flickr within the month (depending on how quick I shoot the roll). If they turn out, that is... I've never shot film before.
- I'm actually fixing to leave for Texas for a week (leaving my house in about 2 hours), so I don't have time to get pics now. I'll (try to) make it a priority to get some pics when I get back, though! =D
Noice! Looking good. =) - I know, right? Little animals are so cute/so much fun! =D
Kk. You're camera must have some pretty sweet low-light capabilities if you can keep it at ISO 800! My old D40 was terrible at high ISOs... pretty much anything higher that 400 looked wretched. =P

- Good. He's most likely the one I'll go with. =) Not yet – I'll have to get that done myself. He's asking $200.
Ah, k. So basically since you're using AV Mode, you're using your aperture to adjust the exposure of your photos? - Looked at minis tonight! There're two for sale – one's a sorrel, and one's a buckskin (though with his winter coat he doesn't really look all that buckskin right now).
This one's Spirit (I like him better of the two – mainly because he's a different color from Oakey)

And this is Justin Bieber (and... since I'm not a fan of Justine Bieber, I'd definitely change his name if I got him =P Probably to something like "Ghillie")

Ah, k. Nope. Not on that forum.
Your depth of field (in essence, how much is in focus) is determined by your aperture. The smaller the aperture (or f-number), the less there is in focus (which is how the dog's nose could be clear, but not the eyes); the bigger the f-number, the more that's in focus. I hope that makes sense, 'cause it can kinda be confusing. I can't wait to see the portraits! =D - I'm terribly sorry for taking so long to reply... work's been really crazy this week.
Will do. =) I'm thinking that I might call my mini-owning neighbor sometime next week to see if he's interested in selling.
Yeah, it's definitely not the most exhilarating job... but it pays well, and the stuff I'm doing is really nice to know how to do.
Nope. I'm "TylerGS" on the digital-photography-school forum (though I never get on there anymore). Which forum are you talking about?
That ones really good! Color feels natural, and framing is engaging. For the most part, focus is spot on – I would watch it around the eyes, though; in this pic the nose is in better focus than the eyes (how wide of a focus range do you have your camera set to?). No big deal, but something to keep in mind. =)
