lol.dont get me wrong i love him..but he can be a pain in my butt lol
-
Yeah, old horses can be a drag, lol :P
-
thank you! he is 15 so nothing really scares him because he was a trail horse for 10 years lol. i will try to get him a little spunky because i ride with a crop already and i never use it but i will try to get him going! thankx

Well, you could try to get him more energetic.. A higher calorie diet may help.
- You can try riding with a crop, and before each jump give him a tap on his butt or behind the girth.
- Trot him at the jump may encourage him to pick up his feet.
- Try draping a saddle blanket over the jump and aim for it. He may see it and be like "Whoa, I'd better jump waaay over this in order to clear this big scary new thing.".. Just be careful if you do this that he won't refuse at the last minute.

i cant figure out out how to make him lift his feet and im not ready to go any higher so i cant make him stop being lazy. He just dosent care if he hits the jumps unless it is like 4ft and i am not ready to go that high yet
-
Hmm.. Not much but.. It depends. What do you need help with?
