    Just make sure you feed him the amounts for his ideal weight not his current weight and yes 3 months should be plenty of time as long as he has no underlying issues and is being feed correctly.

    Then why did you get him knowing you didnt have the funds. Rehabing a horse takes alot of money and time.I have a tb that i rescued in january who was worm infected and underweight. Its been 6 months...
