| | That's just miserable - unfortunately it's not the first case. There was a case almost exactly identical to this in MA a few years back - our rescue took in one of the yearlings that was blind - as it would have been harder to adopt her out with her needs. It's unfortunate, but animal hoarding truly is a sickness and typically the owners have some serious underlying mental issues.
It's disheartening how often this happens and the unfortunate results of people like this - truthfully the smaller, easier breeds take the brunt of these situations, but the larger breeds aren't free from it either. :( |
