Smile Any one else have a "unique" mini-barn?

To make a long story short (or trying to!)
I was organizing some older pictures on the computer, and came across when my Hubby and I were building our minis their barn.

We tried to think of every little thing we might need or want in this building.
It is built to stand up to the heavy snow loads we get here, and is also insulated extremely well. It is warm in winter and cool in summer!

The floors have heavy rubber stall mats, and the walls are lined with smooth, easy to clean panels. Makes it very easy to keep them tidy!
And of course we ran power down to it, so we have external lighting as well as inside the stalls, makes it very nice during our long, dark winter days...
Oh, and a built in plug for the stock tank heater as well.

The front facade we made to look like an "old west" town, my Hubby's idea. I think it turned out pretty cute!

I sure love it, and our minis do too!

Does any one else have pics of their barn they'd like to share?
Love to see them!

That is too cool! I'm going to have to get my husband to build me a funky mini barn for Alice.

I got one. She's a little on the thin side. But she's a sweetie.

Hi SLCS!!!!

Wow, I would post a pic of my barn...but after seeing yours, I am ashamed. Your barn is BEAUTIFUL...fun and functional!!

We bought our house with a 3 stall barn right next to the house. The stalls are matted, have fans and also a misting system. Each stall opens up to a generous paddock.

On the other side of the house is a 1/4 acre "pasture". Basically, I turn the minis out into the pasture during the day, and keep them in the paddocks/stalls at night. Unless it is really hot....then I leave them in the paddocks with the fans on so they can cool off if they want.

I just want my DH to cut down the stall doors so they can peek their heads out. We can see the barn from the family room...i want to see their little faces peering out! Right now, I occasionally see a little nose poking over the door, but that's it.

I can't believe how much I adore these little dudes. Just talking about them now makes me want to get some carrots and go visit with them.
