Can anyone educate me on Mini's? - Page 2 - The Horse Forum

I'm still debating on it, actually, lol. If I get one, it won't be until sometime next year, I don't think..Not until I know a lot more about them.

As for why I want one... I just want a 'pet'... something to lead, groom, love on, and bathe... Lol. I have my big horses, but a mini would be pretty cool to own, in my opinion...

They are just fun. In that case you don't need a perfect "show" quality specimen - I don't know about your area, but I've seen a few older minis listed in local classifieds free to good homes. It never occurred to me to look before we bought ours, but if I was to get another one just as a companion I would see if there was one that needed a forever home.
