The reason why people want miniatures: THEY'RE SO ADORABLE AND FLUFFY AND FUN TO GROOM.

Or at least that's why I would want one.

I have a disability, I plan on making my mini a service animal. I have trained 2 Mastiffs for this before. It takes approximately 2 1/2 years to properly train a service animal. Then the mastiff gets hip problems, or their back goes out and is unable to help, and usually in a shorter time that it took me to train them!! Hopefully a mini will outlast me, and I won't have to spend another 2 to 3 years training another animal. But hey, that is just my prospective.

Have you ever trined horses? Nonetheless minis They're much, MUCH different than mastiffs!!! Why don't you get another breed of dog that doesn't have hip problems?

My daughter is in Tulsa OK right now showing at Mini Nationals for the first time. She just placed 11th out of over 50 competitors in jumping. I am so proud of her. If you want to watch any of it they have live streaming on this site.
