Thankyou everyone. Misty is adjusting well. We have gone for several walks and she does wonderful. Traffic did not seem to bother her at all..except for the very loud semi went by. She crossed a hollow cement bride and a wooden planked one without hesitation. She has the cutest lil trot!.
Yep,,i can see minis are addicting.
Thanks for the welcome. No change as far as pregnancy goes.I guess we have awhile to go.

Oh, and you will love driving too. Never thought I'd enjoy anything as much as riding, but I was pleasantly wrong, LOL!

Copper spots
Went for a ride yesterday ( big horse) got lost and an ez ride turned in to long challenging ride fast. If the pain of my body is any indication the time will be soon where I will be driving from the cart exclusively. Very thankful the rendof saddle time does NOT mean the end to horses tho

That's what is so wonderful about Minis crisco41, they are great for all ages!
My hubby has always been a bit intimidated by our horses, so has never wanted to be as involved with them. He'll ride once in awhile, but that's it.
Since we've had the Minis, he's gotten really involved with them, just adores them.
Which is great for me, because now I can enjoy both great loves of my life at the same time!

Good for you!!! I am too old for a riding horse and I got my mini in October. I adore her. She is 14 and has a cart. We walk every day. Today we did 1 1/2 mile. She had belonged to an 11 year old girl who did 4H and parades and petting zoos with her. She is so good with everyone, I put my little nieces and nephews up on her and she loves it. I put a scarf on her and we were volunteer bell ringers for the Salvation Army in December. I am trying to see how to put a photo on here. ??? I think I got it.
