So I clipped Blackjack a few weeks after my initial post. Thought you guys might like to see what he looks like under all that fuzz. :) I left his feathers and didn't go super short but it made such a difference!

WOW!!! What a difference!! I would still look into registering him under hardship in the World Champion Miniature Horse Association! He can be registered for $70 or $600 under hardship in the AMHR! Rediculous!!! He is so cute!!!!
