My boys are in a 50x50 paddock. Wasn't a dry lot when we started but they made it that way pretty quickly! They share a flake twice daily (a little more in winter). I will let them out with my horse for an hour or so every now and then but that's it. Not so much right now but a little in the summer. The vet and farrier both say they look fantastic! My husband thinks I'm mean to them by not letting them out all the time but he's not a horse person so he doesn't get that I'm actually being very nice to them =)

My minis are also in a dry lot. They get fed twice a day about 2lbs each. In the summer they get out for an hour or so grazing every couple of days. Never had a problem with them getting too fat, just a little out of shape over the winter.
