My name is Jenni and I live in south Georgia. My first horse was a Miniature colt named Pumpkin that I bought as a foal in 2001. In 2005 I found him killed inside his run-in shelter. I am 95% sure it was coyotes. It absolutely broke my heart in two (I still dream about him all the time). I loved him so much!
5 years after the death of Pumpkin I realized it was time to get another Miniature. So, on Nov. 1st I go to pick up the 6 month old Mini colt I'm getting! I am so excited!! At first I was not too crazy about him because he wasn't as attractively proportionate as the other colt I was looking at, but the other one was half wild and this one was sweet and mellow, letting me pet and scratch him while the other one huddled against the far side of the pen. Personality wins for me.
He is a strange gray/brown color (looks gray in some pictures but brown in others - his coat does that in person too - strange). But on top of that base color he is a pintaloosa. Tobiano blotches with faint spots on his hindquarters. He has one blue eye and a pretty, small, delicate head.
My fiance is deployed to Iraq right now (3 months into a year long tour), so I'm pretty lonely. I know this colt will be just the right thing for me - a "snuggle buddy"! He didn't have a name so I decided to name him Koda - a Dakota Sioux word for "friend".
I have never shown before, and I hope to do some showmanship with him next year. Just for fun!

I hope that links works! If it doesn't let me know!
