Jumping minis!

Ok so, last spring the BO got two minis for free, she lets me and my friend take care of them and stuff, she's fine with watever we do with them.

So we recently started jumping them... it is going great! Bam Bam (the paint) doesnt show a lot of jumping talent.........
But Pebbles (the mare) I think shows a lots of talent for jumping.
We are jumping them a little higher then a foot (well, only jumping her that high) she loves it! So I have a few questions....

How high I a normal hieght of jumps for minis?
What is the highest a mini ever jumped?
Are there any shows near calgary for mini jumping or something?

I'm not sure what the record height is for a mini, but they can easily jump three feet when given the proper conditioning.

Lol oh geez, we have a long way to go...
How many times a week am I supposed to work her to condition her a bit better?

You can work her every day if you want, just be sure that you don't get her sour to jumping. Longe her, do cross rails and ground poles, only jump her every now and again, and that'll keep her from hating it.

Just build up some muscle, and every now and again you can bump the height up - just make sure she's confident in the height before you bump it up, or she'll refuse and you'll start back at square one.

There are shows at the saddledome and in Red Deer for miniatures. They have to be registered tho. The highest I used to jump my mini was 2'6.

Is she registered? The AMHA and AMHR shows have lots of jumping classes for minis :)
