Look at all this grass!!

Thought I'd share some pics that I took of the boy's enjoying the tall grass at the stables! I take them there to let them feel their oats in the big arena, then we go for a walk. Normally in the summer this grassy area is the parking lot for the trailers on event days. In the winter it gets pretty tall. Enjoy!!

"Hey O So, Look at all this grass"!!!

This is normally a horse trail that one can see the path. Not now! LOL

The boys will be upset in about a month or 2, this will all be either dried up or mashed down. They sure do enjoy their 20 - 30 minutes of grass for now though!!

We don't have any grass, just snow. Snowed today as a matter of fact. Wish we had grass

We don't get snow, thank goodness! LOL But it has been cold and rainy. It finally got somewhat nice and now the wind came up!

I don't have grass at my place either! LOL The boy's took care of that real quick. We only have about a 1/2 acre, and it has a house and small barn on it too. That is why I take the boys to the stables from time to time. It gives them a huge area to run in. That and right now they can enjoy the grass.

They are super cute and super fuzzy. We are still waiting on the grass to comein good.
Are you going to body clip them or will the hair fall off? I've been grooming my Lucy 2 to 3 times a day tring to get the fur off. She love it but it sure is tiring and I don't see much progress.

I partially shaved O So. Basically just did his belly. I tried to do Pippins belly but he would have nothing to do with the clippers! LOL

Right now I am planning on trying to let the rest of the hair fall out on it's own. I brush them as much as I can. O So's top half is coming along, but his sides still have a lot of fuzz. I may end up trying to clip some of the side fuzz off, but going to wait for now. Pippin isn't going as fast as O So, but he is starting to shed faster and faster. So hopefully he will catch up.

I hear they really start shedding toward the end of May, so I plan on just waiting it out. I'm kind of glad I did too because it just got cold again. So at least they have some hair to keep warm.

We still have a few chilly nights and I should just wait it out but im so excited to see whats underneath all that fur. That and the fact she spends a lot of time standing under a tree rubbing against it to scratch. Lol.

Looks like they were really enjoying them selves out there in that jungle of grass!

We are still in the middle of Spring run-off, so all mine are impatiently awaiting some green..... at least there are still only small piles of snow in the shady spots now, we are getting there!
