I am new to this site and I was hoping someone could tell me how close my mini was to foaling. I got her on April 12, 2013 and a few months after that notice she may be in foal. I called the previous owner and was told they did not breed her and she was just fat. My Vet confirm she was in foal. I have no idea when she got breed but it happen before April 12 the date I got her. The first picture is of her the day after I got her and the second picture was took on the 13th of Feb. 2014. This is my first mare. I always owned geldings.

What do her udders, butt muscles, etc look like? What was your vet's guess? Obviously she's due, at lasted, in March- which means she has less than a month left, possibly less. Now is the time to watch for subtle changes. I hope you have your foal kit, vet's number on hand (minis are notorious for foaling complications and the foal and mare will need checked anyways when it is born), and a shelter ready for her to foal in if she wants to. If she isn't separate from the other horses yet, separate her now.

She's a very pretty girl. I'd love to see the foal when it comes!

The carrot locator is part of a game here on HF. I don't think it's currently working.

But you can still collect them from the "Carrot Bandit" by dragging the carrots into your basket. You can also steal carrots from other members; it will give you an option to accept or decline the opportunity. And, finally, carrots can be stolen from you by the Carrot Bandit and "Tornado" xD It's fun :)
