Have you been able to talk to the vet on the phone at least?

I don't want to bother him. He got hurt pretty bad. I am going to call another Vet from a nearby town tomorrow.

Oh ok. :(

Yeah I think it would be good to at least speak with a vet.

So frustrating, but aren't they all lol. I was daydreaming about spring lambs today but have another month to go! Haha.

I am beginning to wonder if Jazz is having a false pregnancy. I tried to get a Vet to come out to look at her, but it will be the first of April before anyone can come. I talked to my Vet today and he will call me next week sometime. (Still recovery and not doing farm calls) I have done lots of research and find that mares don't have due dates, just average dates of foaling. I found where they can foal anywhere from 300 days to 380 days and still be normal. I figure she would be anywhere from 342 days to 353 days if she is in foal. She is showing all signs of being in foal including movement. In the meantime, I will keep treating her like she will foal anytime.
