Arrow Miniature Registeration

Hello! So, I got a mini(i didn't get her, she was a gift) whom I am having some problems with considering regeristering.

She is supposably registered but I only have her temporary papers. She is 6 but the papers the lady sent it were recoreded before she turned 3 and they say that they aren't permanent and I need to get new ones before the end of her 3rd year.....but shes 6. Is there any way to still register her?

Also, Is there a way to look her or her parents up online? I have no background on her other that she has papers and the lady I got her from bought her when she was 2. Her name is MMR Perfect Liberty Bell, her sire is Lowes Perfect Partner (stood 30.00") and her dam is MMR's Cookies n' Cream(stood 32.75"). She is registed with AMHR and I have a pic of her in my barn.

Thanks,
IIIcrngrl

I'm not completly sure if you can register them at 6 or not. I know my Mini is 17 months old and when I contacted the breeder (he is my first mini and I had no idea about the papers and things) she said I needed to have the papers changed over into my name ASAP and that either the AMHA or AMHR you have to wait til they are 3 years old and 5 years old (one is one way and the other is the other way I believe). He has papers through both. So that's about all the help I can be, sorry. You should check out the AMHR's website and see what that tells you. Or you could call them and ask, I'm sure they would be more then willing to help you out :)

www.horsestudbook.com is free to look up, but you have to register to do so. Once you reg and sign in, click on horses on the left, put her name in the box, and then click to search or whatever it is (find, search, something like that... hitting enter doesn't work)

You can still send her papers in for permanent, there's just a fee to do so. www.shetlandminiature.com has the fee sched. Instead of $5 it's $10. Plus the transfer fee. Here: http://www.shetlandminiature.com/dow...019%202009.pdf You also need to become a member.

Let me know if you have any other questions I can help with ;)

Sarah is registered through AMHR but came with a registration application, as a 3 year old. The previous owners had gotten them from the original owner to send in when she was 4 months old but never did it.. So I had to do it. It cost me 85.00 dollars. They hadnt signed off on the transfer on the forms and I was lucky that I could have even gotten it done. I explained the situation to the lady and she was helpful, only since she was a maiden mare, I could get her registered. They said if she wouldve had a foal. I wouldnt have been able to do it, without paperwork signed and a breeders certificate. Soo.. be prepared to spend money, especially since she's now 6 years old. It'll cost, the older they get the more it costs to get it done. I think you could still get it done, just going to cost more. Im not completely sure, but probably. :P Youll just have to call them.
